Riccardo Sist

Born in 1993, he began studying classical guitar at the age of eleven at the C.E.M. Center in Pordenone and later at the “Francisco Tárrega” Guitar Center with Maestro Mauricio González. He has attended several advanced training courses with Maestros Vito Nicola Paradiso, Paolo Pegoraro, Stefano Viola, Stefano Grondona, Luigi Attademo, Thomas Offermann, Pavel Steidl, Matteo Mela, Aniello Desiderio, Marcos Victora Wagner, Lena Kokkaliari, Frédéric Zigante, Paul Galbraith, Andrej Grafenauer, and Adriano Del Sal.

He obtained his second-level academic diploma in classical guitar with the highest marks (110/110 cum laude) from the “J. Tomadini” Conservatory in Udine, under the guidance of Maestro Stefano Viola.

In 2010 he qualified for the 7th European Classical Guitar Competition “Enrico Mercatali” in Gorizia, and in the same year he was awarded second prize at the 6th “Pia Baschiera – Arrigo Tallon Foundation” Music Competition in Pordenone.
In 2011 he won first absolute prize at the National Competitions “Giulio Rospigliosi” in Lamporecchio (category up to 18 years old) and Civenna (category up to 19 years old), and took part in the “Sommerkurs Junge Talente” in Nürtingen. In the same year, he performed at the 5th Concert Series “Concerti a Palazzo” in Sacile.
Since 2007 he has been a member of the EnArmonia Guitar Ensemble, a group that has received numerous awards in national competitions and with which he recorded the CD Sfiorando il Contemporaneo, featuring original works by Matteo Rigotti.
