Angela Tagliariol

Her main interest has always been teaching, to which she has dedicated herself with enthusiasm and devotion for 30 years. Her pupils have been winners of first prizes at national and international competitions, according to age group, and she has received numerous awards in recognition of her work.
She has held various courses, masterclass and chamber music workshops and is guitar teacher at the Musical Courses of the “Giuseppe Lozer” Secondary School in Pordenone.

She is the co-creator and manager, of the Segovia Guitar Academy in Pordenone, established and internationally recognized guitar school, which boasts in its advanced courses students from all over Italy and abroad, as well as vice-president of Polinote, a young and dynamic cooperative in Pordenone recognized in the area for the musical training and the numerous events organized. The courses of the Segovia Guitar Academy are included in the cooperative’s broad didactic proposal, which ranges from several musical genres.

Together with the harmonious team of teachers, she organizes numerous activities, combining the usual individual instrument lessons, with concerts, workshops, guitar ensemble, seminars, all with a view to encouraging the artistic and cultural growth of the pupils in the widest and most complete sense possible. The intention is to create open spaces where students can grow by meeting with more artistic personalities gaining its own expressive dimension.

Over the years she has made many concert performances especially in chamber music groups such as guitar duos, trios and quartets, flute and guitar duo, flute, clarinet and guitar trio, and voice and guitar duo, winning First and Second Prizes at national and international Competitions.
With the “Italian Guitar Consort” and the soprano Lorna Windsor, she has also performed in a great many concerts and has recorded the CD “Viva Sevilla” published by the Guitart magazine. Her performances in important cities both in Italy and abroad such as Arezzo, Verona, Genova, Bari, Rome, Parma, Buffalo and Toronto have always been met with extremely favourable acclaim by music critics and the general public alike.

Born in Pordenone, she obtained her diploma in guitar with honors under the guidance of Maestro Tommaso De Nardis and her diploma in the Didactics of Music at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatoire in Venice.
During the years immediately following her studies, she attended various specialisation courses held by such famous names in the international concert world as Guillermo Fierens, Manuel Barrueco and David Russell, where she was always noted for being one of the best students.

She then took part in a large number of masterclasses, courses and workshops in the most diverse musical fields, from didactics to the analytical study of style and interpretation, all of crucial importance to her musical training.
