Alberto Spada

Born in Pordenone in 1981, he began studying the guitar in 1994 at the “Giuseppe Lozer” Music Institute in Pordenone with Paolo Pegoraro, with whom he completed his entire training up to the diploma. In 2004 he graduated with distinction in the guitar class of Stefano Viola at the “A. Steffani” Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto. In 2008 he also earned the Second-Level Experimental Academic Diploma in Musical Disciplines at the same institution.

He has attended several masterclasses held by internationally renowned musicians (David Russell, Matteo Mela, Marco Socías, Tilman Hoppstock, Marcos Díaz, Carlo Marchione, Giampaolo Bandini, Manuel Barrueco, Eduardo Isaac, Thomas Müller-Pering and others), both as an active participant and auditor.

He has performed in numerous national and international events (International Guitar Festival “Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco” in Treviso, “Sacile Music Festival” in Sacile, “Hortus Niger” in Brtonigla, Croatia, International Guitar Festival of Friuli Venezia Giulia, International Guitar Festival “Niccolò Paganini” in Parma, “Interensemble” Concert Season in Padua, Seminario Internacional de Guitarra Clásica de Tuxtla Gutiérrez in Chiapas, Mexico, the XI Segovia Guitar Week, among others), both as a soloist and in various chamber ensembles.

He studied composition with Dario Regattin and also dedicated himself to the study of electroacoustic composition under the guidance of Roberto Girolin.

He works as a guitar teacher at the Segovia Guitar Academy in Pordenone and at the “S. Gandino” Music School in Porcia.

He plays a guitar made by luthier Gernot Wagner.
