Courses:

  • Preparatory instrumental course
Conceived for beginner students aged between 6 and 8 y.o., offers a playful approach to the world of sounds using the guitar in an informal way, to encourage the child’s rhythmic, vocal, and hearing skills development, stimulating their curiosity and creativity.
  • Pre-AFAM course
It develops specific technical and psychomotor skills aimed at realizing musical thought through the instrument. Divided into multiple levels, it follows the programs of music Conservatories, giving the possibility to access to pre-AFAM exams, but at the same time offers the opportunity to create programs freely agreed between teacher and student. It is highly recommended to follow musical formation courses covering vocal and rhythmic training, theory, historical knowledge and study of harmony along with the instrumental lessons.
  • Enhanced pre-AFAM course
Compared to the ordinary course, it provides a higher amount of annual hours of lesson, to be agreed upon, for those who need more in-depth professional training.
  • Free course
Aimed at those who want to approach the world of six-strings at an amateur level and want to follow a program freely agreed between teacher and student.
  • Chamber music
To widen musical experience, lesson packages for duos, trios, or quartets can be scheduled throughout the year.
  • EnArmonia Guitar Ensemble
To foster socialization among students and create opportunities for growth, the school organizes various ensembles for students of appropriate ages and abilities. This allows each member to express themselves to their full potential, based on their individual educational background.

EnArmonia Guitar Ensemble

A shared belief among all the teachers at the Segovia Guitar Academy is that ensemble music plays a fundamental role among the various artistic activities that shape the students’ educational journey. For several years, our team has been working closely together to create multiple opportunities for ensemble playing, both within the regular lessons throughout the academic year and through participation in concerts and chamber music competitions.

The natural evolution of our work, in line with the idea that each young artist’s personality can flourish more fully through interaction with multiple instructors, has led to the formation of various chamber music groups. Each group is composed of students matched by age and skill level, with the goal of providing every student with the opportunity to express themselves and fully develop their potential.
