Polinote Cooperativa Sociale Onlus, founded in 2013, is a leading organization in the field of music education and promotion. A team of qualified teachers, professional musicians, and cultural professionals organizes musical training programs ranging from classical to modern repertoire, aimed at all ages, from the very young to the more experienced students in advanced training academies.

Collective experience is a key element for Polinote, which promotes the creation of ensemble, orchestra, and choir workshops, offering students the opportunity to perform at various events and performances. The cooperative also manages the Segovia Guitar Academy, a prestigious guitar academy recognized nationally and internationally for the quality of its teaching and the numerous awards its students have received, including more than 50 prizes in national and international competitions.

Polinote goes beyond traditional music teaching: it also organizes teacher formation courses, workshops, masterclasses, and summer camps, as well as inclusive projects for people with disabilities and the elderly. Among its flagship initiatives are the innovative Polinote Music Room project and the organization of cultural and social events such as the Polinote Music Festival and the Polinote Music (in) Factory, with original and free events in exclusive locations in Pordenone and its province.

The festivals are made possible thanks to the support of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and in collaboration with various local organizations.

With 40 teachers and over 800 students spread across 8 locations in Friuli and Veneto, Polinote is a significant player in the local music scene. The cooperative also develops important collaborations and cultural exchanges with musical institutions in Austria, Germany, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic, thus strengthening a network of international relations.

The name Polinote reflects three key concepts: multiplicity, music, and territory, encapsulated in the logo by the words “poli,” “note,” and “PN” (Pordenone). The cooperative’s mission is to promote music as a shared heritage, a tool for interaction between people, experiences, and generations, spreading a passion for music as an active and shared practice.
